SurgiMac's elevators are built lightweight for easier maneuverability and have a smooth surface handle Straight, Left , Right, IN & OUT have either a straight shank or an angled shank. The tips are delicate. When in use the sharp tip is placed into the periodontal ligament space and the rooot is teased from the socket. If the root is loose but will not elevate, a second elevator can be placed on the opposite side of the root and lifted from the socket. SurgiMac's elevators are designed for to remove fractured root tips lodged deep in the root socket.
